Going Platinum For Another Year | PADI IDC Gili Islands | Holly Macleod

Congratulations to PADI Course Director Holly Macleod of Trawangan Dive for receiving another Platinum rating for 2015.

The Platinum Award denotes not only the pure experience of a PADI Course Director, but an overall commitment to PADI professional training. This year the rating has been awarded to 58 Course Directors worldwide and only 25 PADI Course Directors in the Asia Pacific Region qualified for the rating.

So what does this mean for the Instructor Candidate? Of course it means that you are not only benefiting directly from the experience of the PADI Course Director’s; having trained many of the instructors within the region, you are also benefiting from the regional network and any work opportunities that may arise through the network. Another major benefit is that our philosophy is train instructors beyond the level generally expected within industry and Holly is able to not only train candidates to the level expected to score highly on the PADI Instructor Exam, but to go on and build an extremely rewarding and successful career within the industry.

As well as being awarded the Platinum rating for this year we have also been awarded the PADI “Commitment to Instructor Development Award” which defines all of the PADI Instructor level training programs offered by our Platinum PADI Course Director as some of the very best professional level courses available within the Asia Pacific region.

The PADI IDC Indonesia program offers 10 courses a year on an 11 day schedule with an additional 4 days of pre-IDC preparation workshops. The course runs at Trawangan Dive, which is currently the only PADI Career Development Center (CDC) in Gili Trawangan and the first ever PADI CDC Center to be established in the Gili Islands and the entire Lombok region.
